March 1, 2012 in All Posts, Bake, Celebrate

It’s March! Time to start thinking about St. Patrick’s Day activities and treats. Even though Hubby bah-humbugs St. Patrick’s Day, we still celebrate the day at our house for fun.

Last year we made these delicious green Shamrock Rice Krispies Treats:

Recipe and complete how-to here.

Here are 11 more goodies I’d love to make or bake this year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

1. A leprechaun trap cake like last year’s super popular one from Megan at not martha:

2. Caramel and chocolate covered marshmallows like these ridiculously scrumptious looking ones from Love From The Oven. (She also has sweet sprinkled green velvet cake pops and a very green St. Patrick’s Day bundt cake).

3. Rainbow pudding like these bright cups from Katie Goodman of GoodLife Eats, Etc.:

10. Rainbow cupcakes like these from my super awesome bloggy bestie at Critters and Crayons. Maybe I’ll top them with rainbow-swirled frosting based on this tute from Chica and Jo.

11. Rainbow cookies like these colorful little cloud-tipped, personalized ones from The Sweet Adventures of Sugarbelle. (She’s my cookie blog addiction! I dare you to try and tear yourself away.)
