{Play} Best of Kids’ Rainbow Art, Eats & Activities Blog Hop
April 24, 2012 in All Posts, Play, Toddler Activities
Like I admitted to in our Rainbow Squares Activity post, I’m slightly rainbow-obsessed.
In my angst-y teenaged years, I used to be an all-black lover, shunning all shades of the color spectrum, but I’m one hundred percent over that dull phase now.
When we first tried doing rainbow activities, Jane did her own thing.
One year later, she’s correcting me when I tell her that the color brown is in the rainbow.
Well, on some days she agrees with me, and adds black, too, so “they don’t feel left out”:
In celebration of this month’s April showers that are bringing us magnificent rainbows as well as May flowers, I’ve put together a blog hop with some of my wonderful kid blogger friends to bring you a vibrant collection of the best kids’ rainbow art, crafts, activities, learning and play ideas, and recipes. Enjoy!

How funny. It was a total coincidence that she was wearing a rainbow shirt and rainbow striped socks. Totally looks like I was put together enough to script their outfits

We’ve only just started experimenting with rainbows. My son saw a rainbow last week at his grandparents house, and he’s been very excited about them since. So I decided to take advantage and do a little bit of rainbow painting this weekend. Very messy but great fun!
Awesome! I couldn’t wait for my daughter to learn about rainbows…but she’s not as into them as I am
Thanks for stopping by the linky!
I love the development of her rainbows. So far our rainbows haven’t had any colour but green in them
My daughter’s first ones were always black. I was waiting to see when they would be “real” rainbows, but I guess now I miss when she was creative with her own interpretations.
Love your creativity.
Thank you - that’s sweet of you to say!
