{Small Hands Creating Hope} Flowers of Hope Wreaths & Creative Kit Giveaway

I am so absolutely thrilled to be a part of MaryAnne at Mama Smiles’ Small Hands Creating Hope project!
MaryAnne spearheaded this exciting fundraiser for the American Cancer Society in celebration of her thirty years of cancer survivorship. She put together an incredibly talented group of fellow bloggers who worked with their children or students to create a craft that can be made by or for someone facing cancer and compiled them into a cool little book.
There are so many amazing projects in the Small Hands Creating Hope book and several tutorials so that you can recreate the crafts at home with your own children or students.
Our contribution to this lovely project are these two super easy and sunshine-y Flowers of Hope Wreaths that Jane and I put together:
The full tutorial is in the book and even better … we are giving away a Creative Kit with all the materials you need to create both wreaths or to give together with the book as a thoughtful gift for someone you love who might be in need of a little sunshine.
Creative Kit includes:
- 100 sheets of colored tissue paper (8 colors)
- 1 wooden floral wreath
- 1 coil of green floral wire
- assorted color crafting beads
- 1 butterfly-themed pack of 15 faux gemstones and 60 foam stickers
- 1 butterfly-themed sticker pack of 20 felt stickers
- 2 yellow sequin bird embellisments

We perk up our grey days by throwing a bag of crazy colourful cloth and cloths over the carpet for dressing up fun!
What a lovely giveaway! Going for a walk in the sunshine or dancing around the living room perk up our grey days and in the winter a lovely hot chocolate and snuggle on the sofa always gives everyone a warm glow.
